Britpop Union

The Britpop Union pay tribute to the British music scene, bringing the recreated hits up-to-date in a powerful combination of passion and quality akin to the harder-hitting sound that the bands produced in their live shows.

Playing songs from the likes of Blur, Paul Weller, Shed Seven, The Verve, Pulp, Supergrass, Space, Edwyn Collins, Mansun, James, The Stone Roses, Cast, Reef, Primal Scream, The Supernaturals, Embrace and Oasis etc. Glory in the anthems that brought British alternative rock into the mainstream and formed the backbone of a larger British cultural movement of the 1990's that came to be known as Cool Britannia. The Baggy Mondays

Sunday 6th May

The Baggy Mondays are a band that, quite simply, love 'Madchester'. Having lived through the 'second summer of love' The Baggies are a collective of seasoned performers who survived to tell the tale.

So if your ear craves a performance that doesn't restrict itself to a single band but encompasses entire era, then look no further. From the rise of the 'Factory Records' and heady days of 'Spike Island' to the origins of what became 'Britpop'.

Come and share your Bank Holiday with us!!!
